The Future...>>>>

Hmmm what'll that hold for Irish teens? I'm kind of beginning to wonder where I will be in 10 years time...will it be in Ireland? At the moment, in Ireland, we're in a recession, the church is pretty much a disgrace...so where exactly does that leave us?
Apparently we haven't seen the worst of this recession yet...bankers who ave themselves loans, which they didn't have to pay back, or were questioned about where this money was going. As a 19 year old in this country I find it quite amazing that our government can't even put bankers, who committed fraud and took total advantage of their position in the Irish society, in jail. So why is it that it is so blatantly obvious what we have to do and NO ONE IS DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT!! So there's my rant about our lousy government.
Next to my thoughts on my future, the future of the college students. So when we get out of college in 3 years, there will be no jobs, no industry. So mass exodus once again. Australia. America. England. Here we come! At the age of 19, in 2010, I don't feel that I should have to worry about my future. There is no security in Ireland now.
...the church. I think I've no faith. I'm not really sure. But the Catholic Church? The Pope is even guilty of a cover up! Isn't he supposed to be perfect or something! Ok, well maybe that's a tad of an exaggeration-a massive one- How am I supposed to have faith in something like that? And no one seem to be 'guilty'. No one is being fired. No one is jailed for the horrendous treatment of the innocent children in their care.
So once again, How the hell-pardon the pun- can I see this?
Our priests- FIRED AND JAILED.
Our Pope (The Infallible One)- FIRED.
Our bankers- JAILED
Our Government (why did I give that a capital letter? It's not that important.) - Fired? Uh they just better not fuck the country up any more!!

It Could Be You....
I recently designed a range of 6 cards for local cancer support centre, The Cuisle Centre in Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Through meeting people I began to realise that everyone knows someone directly effected by cancer. Everyone was so positive with the selection of cards. It is a great cause and I hope it will be well supported and from the feedback I really think it will. So if you happen to come across them please buy one. There are 6 cards- Poppy, Petunia, Calla Lily, Bluebell, Red Rose and Yellow Rose. They are €3 each. 100% of the profits are to The Cuisle Centre.
As scary as it is to think about it, it could be you or me that will need a brilliant service like this some day in the future. So.....Support The Cause!!
In shops soon- list to follow
And if you can't find them I'm sure I could post/mail you some!
